Bahrain head coach Helio Sousa yesterday called up veteran international Sayed Mohammed Adnan for their match against Cambodia on Tuesday in the qualifying for the Fifa World Cup 2022 and the AFC Asian Cup 2023.
Adnan will replace fellow-defender Sayed Mahdi Baqer, who has suffered an injury and was not able to travel with the team to Phnom Penh, according to Bahrain Football Association (BFA).
The national team left late last night for the Cambodian capital.
