Experts concerned despite decline in daily Covid-19 cases in Cambodia

Following the rise of Covid-19 Omicron cases in Cambodia, numbers appear to be dropping of late.

However, following the suspension of Covid-19 safety rules during mass gatherings for the Khmer New Year, experts are waiting to see if the numbers rise again.

They are also concerned over an apparent “loophole” in checking migrant workers at the border.
