Anonymous Targets State TV, Business Association

The hacking group Anonymous Cambodia said Wednesday that its members had infiltrated two more local websites, including that of state-owned TVK, keeping its promise to attack the sites of pro-government groups after the arrest of two of its members earlier this month.

On its Facebook page, the group writes that it attacked TVK and the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA). In each case, the hackers released data from the websites to the public.

In the post about TVK, Anonymous writes: “The email addresses of Information Minister Khieu Kanharith’s subordinates are leaked.” It then includes a link to the addresses as well as the login page and database information for the TVK website.

In the post about CAMFEBA, the group writes that it accessed the association’s website and released information including usernames and passwords. On Tuesday, members claimed to have brought down the Anti-Corruption Unit website.

The attacks follow the arrests in early April of Bun Khing Mongkul Panha, 21, and Chou Songheng, 21, who are charged with breaking into 30 government websites and stealing data.
