Speaking in the post-match press conference after his charges lost 1-0 to Malaysia in their 2018 AFF Championship opening match, Cambodia head coach Félix González expressed his unhappiness towards the quality of refereeing in the encounter.
Despite dominating possession and threatening the Malaysian defence in the first 20 minutes or so of the match that was held at the Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh on Thursday, the home side couldn’t keep up the momentum. In the end, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha’s headed goal in the 30th minute was all that separated the two sides.
