Hanoi – Defense Minister General Ngo Xuan Lich hosted a reception in Hanoi on October 30 for General Vong Pisen, General Commander of the Cambodian Royal Armed Forces who is on an official visit to Vietnam from October 29-31.
At the meeting, General Vong Pisen briefed the host on the outcomes of his talks with Sen. Lieut. Gen Phan Van Giang, Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.
Minister Lich lauded the achievements that the Cambodian people and Royal Armed Forces have made, expressing his belief that General Vong Pisen’s visit would help reinforce and strengthen the traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive and sustainable cooperation between the two countries and armies as well.
