8 Chinese injured in multi-vehicle crash in SW Cambodia: police

Phnom Penh – Eight Chinese nationals got injured in a collision involving a dump truck, a pickup truck, and motorbikes in Cambodia’s southwestern Preah Sihanouk province on Wednesday, a local traffic police chief said.

Prum Pov, chief of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Traffic Police Bureau, said the accident occurred at noon when a speedy dump truck crashed into a pickup truck and swerved to hit other motorbikes.

“One Cambodian man was killed and 16 others, including eight Chinese men, got injured in the crash,” he told Xinhua via telephone. “Four of the Chinese victims sustained serious injuries.”
