Cambodia says man returning from U.S. tests positive for COVID-19

A Cambodian man tested positive for the COVID-19 after arriving in Cambodia from the United States, Ministry of Health (MoH) spokeswoman said in a statement on Saturday.

The 59-year-old man landed in capital Phnom Penh on Thursday from the United States via a connecting flight in South Korea, said MoH secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine.

“The result of his samples’ test showed (on Friday) that the man was positive for the COVID-19, and he is currently undergoing treatment at the Chak Angre Health Center in southern Phnom Penh,” she said.
