Koreans held in Cambodia for carrying $2.2m

Phnom Penh – Police in Cambodia say they have arrested two South Korean citizens who were found carrying $2.2 million into the country without proper authorisation.

National Police identified the two as Yoon Wongi and Song Hyunhoo and said they were arrested Sunday after they arrived at Siem Reap International Airport from Hong Kong.

They said immigration officials found the $2.2 million, mostly in $100 bills, in their luggage.
