Officials in China’s Jiangsu province say they will cooperate with Cambodia on healthcare as Sino-Cambodian relations are “at the highest point”, with bilateral trade reaching $5.5 billion last year.
“We have four [projects planned], including sending doctors to treat patients in Cambodia, treating dengue fever, building health centres and providing long-distance treatment,” said the deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Health Committee Zhu Min.
She was speaking during a briefing with Cambodian reporters visiting China this week.
