Cambodia’s economy is projected to grow at 6 per cent this year—a bit lower than the earlier estimate of 6.6 per cent—due to slower-than-expected growth in some sectors, a mid-year report released recently by the ministry of economy and finance said.
The industrial sector, mainly garments, shoes and travel goods, as well as construction, was projected to grow at 7.9 per cent this year, according to the report.
