Cambodia’s economy is forecast to maintain a gradual recovery in 2023, driven by robust domestic activities, according to a recent report by the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO).
Although the garment sector’s growth is expected to slow down due to reduced demand from the US and EU, the non-garment manufacturing sector is likely to see continued high growth. The GDP growth rate is anticipated to increase from 5.3 per cent in 2023 to 6.2 per cent in 2024.
