A daughter of Emperor Akihito’s late cousin, obliged to renounce her status as a princess on marrying a commoner, celebrated her big day with a glittering reception on Oct. 30.
The former Princess Ayako, now Mrs. Moriya, looked radiant in a light pink dress woven with silk. She is the 28-year-old daughter of Prince Takamado.
Her husband, Kei Moriya, 32, works for a well-known shipping company.
