Phnom Penh – Cambodia’s leading mobile operator Smart Axiata has launched the Smart WeChat Go SIM, a new prepaid product targeting Chinese visitors, according to its press release on Saturday.
The product is a result of Smart’s partnership with China’s messaging and mobile payment giant WeChat, the release said, adding that with this partnership, Smart Axiata addresses the growing number of Chinese travelers visiting Cambodia, enabling them to stay connected with their friends and families and enjoy unlimited entertainment in their own language via the Lingcod TV application.
It is expected that by 2020, 3 million tourists from China will come to see Cambodia’s ancient history and natural beauty annually.
