I am not happy with the current [commune] authority because it seems unfair. If you know them, they will process any documents very fast.
It’s very convenient for friends of the CPP. Whenever I need anything from the authority I need to give them money. They tell me it’s for pen ink. I had to pay $50 for an ID card. This is not in the law. This is corruption. I still haven’t gotten my ID card.
I applied three years ago. I asked authorities where it is, and they said maybe they lost it. They suggested I apply for another one.
People in my district don’t like the authorities. They want change—they want the new political party.”
