Shoalhaven Rugby Club will this week return to Cambodia to defend their international 10s tournament title.
Held at Phnom Penh, the two-day tournament, which saw Shoals defeat Thailan’s Mighty Geckos 34-17 in the 2018 final, will see see 10 new faces head to Cambodia for the first time, as part of the 16-person touring squad.
“Rugby has always had a strong tradition of touring,” Shoals coach Paul Connor said, who hopes this trip becomes a permanent fixture on the club’s calendar.
