The Philippines’ eight-man kickboxing team was sent to Cambodia for further training in preparation for the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
According to Senator Francis Tolentino, President of the Samahang Kickboxing ng Pilipinas (SLP), the fighters, with their Philippine kickboxing coaches Glenn Mondol and Donald Geisler III, would train in Cambodia until November 9.
“Our Filipino kickboxers have been training diligently in the past months. I am convinced that they have a very good chance in the coming SEA Games,” Tolentino said in a statement.
