Former Japan international and A-League star Keisuke Honda has led Cambodia into the second round of Asian qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
Honda, who played for Japan at three World Cups before retiring from internationals in 2018, has been coaching Cambodia part time while fulfilling a recently completed one-year contract with Melbourne Victory.
Under his tutelage Cambodia scored a 2-1 away win over Pakistan for a 4-1 aggregate victory.
