An avid Cyclist and member of Ranchi cycling Club, kanishka Poddar, recently rode his cycle from Bangkok in Thailand to Phnom Penh in Cambodia, covering over 1,000 kilometres in three weeks.
Poddar rode through cities and villages less travelled, crossed coastal stretch, rubber plantations, paddy fields by experiencing food and local culture in the purest forms. He also crossed the international border between Thailand and Cambodia on the bicycle.
Kanishka flew to Bangkok with his Bicycle on June 16 and started his ride towards Cambodia on June 17 this year. He rode approximately 100 kms every day and took a break of 2-3 days after every 4 days of continuous cycling.
