Vietnam, Cambodia exchange experiences in religious affairs

A conference was held by the Vietnamese Government Committee for Religious Affairs and the Cambodian Ministry of Religions and Cults in the Mekong River Delta province of An Giang on January 7, aiming to share their experiences in religious affairs.

Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vu Chien Thang and Deputy Secretary of State at the corresponding Cambodian ministry Min Chandyneth Min Chandyneth chaired the event.

According to the Vietnamese official, the four-day conference was an opportunity for the two sides to share their experience and practical lessons on the state management of religious affairs. This was done in order to improve the management capacity and efficiency in the field, while significantly contributing to social stability and the development of the country.
