Cambodia’s deputy opposition leader has her “Free Mu Sochua” campaign ready to go.
One of her three daughters will lead the push for her release from jail, backed by a fully briefed network of women’s groups. Another will visit her in prison.
All that is now required is for Mu Sochua, the 65-year-old vice-president of the banned Cambodian National Rescue Party (CNRP), to be allowed back into Cambodia this weekend so that Prime Minister Hun Sen can make good his promise to arrest her.
