Congressman Ted Yoho, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee, said he would reintroduce Cambodia Democracy Act in January next year if the Senate fails to pass it by the end of 2018. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the bill in July to paving the way for sanctions to be imposed against Prime Minister Hun Sen’s inner circle for undermining democracy in Cambodia.
