China’s foreign minister has visited Cambodia on a four-nation tour of Asia. Wang Yi promised a range of aid and called for speeding up talks on the South China Sea.
Wang took part in the handover ceremony for a national stadium built with a 160-million-dollar grant from Beijing. It will be used as the main venue for the South East Asian Games in 2023.
Wang met with Prime Minister Hun Sen and pledged to provide vaccines until Cambodia overcomes the coronavirus as well as support the country’s economic recovery.
