The Chinese Foreign Ministry says Premier Li Keqiang is expected to visit Cambodia on Tuesday for a series of summit meetings involving the Association of Southeast Asian nations.
Spokesperson Zhao Lijian told reporters on Friday that the premier will attend the meetings from November 8 to 13, and will also pay an official visit to Cambodia.
Zhao said China will protect peace and stability, uphold multilateralism, and support ASEAN’s central role in the region. He also said China will build a framework for open and inclusive regional cooperation.
