Phnom Penh – Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will attend the 74th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly and other meetings in New York from Sept. 24 to 28, said a foreign ministry’s press release on Saturday.
Sokhonn, who is also the deputy prime minister, will deliver a statement focusing on Cambodia’s socio-economic development and achievements on Millennium Development Goals and efforts towards the Sustainable Development Goals, the release said.
His statement will also underline the importance of the collective efforts to address climate change, terrorism, extremism and radicalism, and non-conventional security threats, it added.
