The Ministry of Information would like to inform the editor-in-chief of The Cambodia Daily that the ministry received a diplomatic note from the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in Phnom Penh regarding an article The Cambodia Daily took from Reuters and published on February 12, 2016, with the headline “North Korea: South’s Industrial Zone Pullout a ‘Declaration of War’” along with a photograph that could affect the dignity of the North Korean leader.
While reminding you to respect professionalism and support the diplomatic affairs and international relations of the Kingdom of Cambodia and all countries that have diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Ministry of Information would like to ask the editor-in-chief and his colleagues to thoroughly consider ethics, professionalism and dignity to ensure that each article is professional, and does not cause any damage to other nationals in future publications.
