Vancouver man accused of sexually assaulting children in Cambodia

A Vancouver chef working in Asia has been charged with sexually assaulting eight Cambodian children between the ages of eight and 12.

Andrew David Eyre, 43, was arrested last week after complaints were made against him by families in rural villages southeast of the capital Phnom Penh.

The Cambodian Children’s Fund, a local charity, said in a news release that the Canadian posed as a doctor offering check-ups to children in the small communities in Kandal province.
