Two Cambodian Temples Among World’s Top 10 Landmarks

Cambodia has two of the world’s top 10 landmark tourist attractions, according to TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Attractions Awards announced Tuesday.

Angkor Wat and Bayon temples in Siem Reap province place 6th and 7th respectively, making Cambodia the only country in the world with two landmarks in the top 10.

The ancient Angkorian temples—long the country’s biggest draw for tourists—stand alongside landmarks such as St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and the Taj Mahal in India.

Machu Picchu, the 15th-century Incan city, won the top spot on TripAdvisor’s list.
