Trafficked M’sians bashed and threatened with rape

They are kept under lock and key in security compounds guarded by armed men, and the younger women are threatened with rape if they “fail to perform” while others are beaten up.

This is the fate of some Malaysians who were tricked into leaving the country with the promise of high-paying jobs, but now find themselves at the mercy of human trafficking syndicates.

One of the victims, a man who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he was being held with 13 other Malaysians in Cambodia.
