Thai princess extends aid to Cambodian education

Thailand’s Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has decided to renew her educational assistance to two technology institutes in Kampong Thom and Kampong Speu provinces for another five years.

The “Royal Project Agreement Graciously Bestowed to the Kingdom of Cambodia in the Field of Education” was signed on Wednesday in Bangkok between Cambodian ambassador to Thailand Ouk Sorphorn on behalf of the Minister of Education Youth and Sport and Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

The princess presided over the signing ceremony. The educational assistance will last from September to September 2025, a press release on the signing said.
