Southend man found dead in hotel room during eight-week trip to Cambodia named

He was staying in a hotel in the country's capital city.

An Essex man who was found dead in a hotel while travelling in Asia has been named.

Last October Ian Phillips left his home in York Road in Southend-On-Sea to go travelling.

For eight weeks he travelled alone around the south-east Asian country of Cambodia.
