The Senate approved three laws Friday in a session boycotted by opposition senators from the Sam Rainsy Party.
The Senate approved a highway law, amendments to a trade agreement between Cambodia and Vietnam, and a law relating the government budget of 2012.
The laws easily passed the Senate with the 46 votes of the ruling CPP.
The SRP, which merged with the Human Rights Party in 2012 to form the CNRP, has only 11 seats in the Senate.
The CNRP is also boycotting the National Assembly seats it won at last year’s disputed election.
The laws were passed by the CPP-only National Assembly last week.
Hong Sok Hour, a Senator from the SRP said that he was disappointed the Senate is approving laws in one party sessions.
“We are not recognizing laws approved by the single party,” he said. “These laws will not serve the interests of the whole nation, because there was no detailed discussion and only a single party voted.”
