Scholarship Winners Picked

Judges of the Cambodia Daily/Regent College scholarships have chosen the fourth set of people who will receive tuition to attend courses in English, bookkeeping, office skills or working internationally at Regent College in Phnom Penh.

At the discretion of Regent College an additional six scholarships have been awarded on top of the original 30 offered.

The Cambodia Daily/Regent College scholarship program allows students who, because of financial hardship, would not otherwise have access to skills training. The scholarships are worth $120 each and are given each quarter.

Past scholarship winners have been highly praised by teachers at the college for high attendance and diligence in completing assignments.

The scholarship winners are: Tith Phally, Sa Maryan, Hong Rathna, Chhun Srey Mom, Tang Himly Ly, Sea Sarak, Thol Ngornthay, Mam Sokolkanga, Kong Heap, Chea Bunheng, Im Sophannara, Heng Thuon, Sem Tharin, Meth Manith, Heang Linna, Bo Engkun, May Vireak, Vong Ath, Long Samnang, Chin Channa, Chheang Poly, Mey Sophon, Chann Pheara, Keam Chanvila, Sok Kan, On Veasna, Song Meng, Lou Phoumary, Prum Pothea, Senu Sarun, An Neatnika, Sot Sarin, In Em, Sman Norany, Huoy Sokhom and Ka Kada.

Winners should report to Regent College this week to register for classes.
