Prime Minister in Malaysia for Series of Summits

Prime Minister Hun Sen jetted off to Kuala Lumpur on Friday morn­ing to attend the 27th Asean Summit and hold one-on-one meetings with several heads of state.

Accompanied by a high-powered delegation including Foreign Affairs Minister Hor Namhong, Commerce Minister Sun Chanthol and Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron, the prime minister will attend the annual regional sum­mit and a string of 13 related events over the weekend, according to a statement released by the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Mr. Hun Sen will also meet individually with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the statement says.

It does not say what he will discuss with the three leaders.
