A group fighting to stop rampant deforestation in Prey Lang forest will bring their campaign to Phnom Penh today for a roundtable conference at the Foreign Correspondents Club.
Grassroots representatives of villagers in Kompong Thom, Kratie, Stung Treng and Preah Vihear provinces will give presentations of the destruction of the environmentally crucial woodland and talk about community patrols of the forest undertaken last week.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
