NagaCorp’s Quarterly Revenue Increases

NagaCorp Ltd., the owner of the NagaWorld hotel and casino in Phnom Penh, increased its first quarter year-on-year revenue by 16 percent from $66.3 million to $76.8 million, according to a filing by the company on the Hong Kong Stock exchange.

The filing, posted earlier this month, also states that the gambling company increased revenue of its gaming tables, electronic gaming machines and junket and VIP credit. 

For its gaming tables, revenue grew 24 percent from $93.6 million to $115 million. For electronic gaming machines, it increased 10 percent from $248.1 million to $273.2 million.Junket and VIP credit grew 14 percent from $832.7 million to $946 million.

The released figures were not audited.

In February, NagaCorp announced it would take control of a fleet of airplanes to fly gamblers direct from Macau and China to Phnom Penh.
