‘Hero’ rat receives animals’ George Cross for detecting landmines in Cambodia

Magawa (that’s his name) is not just any old rodent. He’s a HeroRAT (that’s his occupation).

Magawa is a landmine detection rat, which means he’s an expert at detecting explosives. His brave work has transformed the lives of countless Cambodians.
