It’s all about crashing symbols, hammering bass drums and chugging riffs this Saturday at Oscar’s on the Corner, as some of the capital’s most hardcore metal bands hit the stage along with two guest acts from Vietnam for a one-night fest.
Sliten6ix and Nightmare A.D. make up the local contingent, while melodic-metal act In Your Eyes and groove metal outfit LOLOTICA have made the trip from Ho Chi Minh City across the border.
Expect cold drinks, heavy music and high energy performances when the first band hits the stage. Entry fee is just $1, and organizers Get in the Penh describe the event as “a night of heavy music, tons of fun and moshing in this cross-border fiesta of Hardcore and Metal.” This is only Part I, so expect heavy metal round two at some point in the future.
From 9 p.m. until late on Saturday at Oscar’s on the Corner, St. 104, Phnom Penh. Entrance fee is $1.
