France provides fund for five South-East Asian countries to fight Covid-19

The French Development Agency (AFD) has provided a grant aid of 2 million euros (US$2.19mil) to the Pasteur Institutes in Cambodia and four other South-East Asian countries to help fight the Covid-19 (coronavirus), according to a joint press statement.

The grant aid aimed at strengthening the surveillance, diagnosis and response systems of the five South-East Asian countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam) to epidemics, said the statement, which was released on Friday.
