Fifth Alleged Anonymous Hacker Charged

The teenager who was arrested earlier this week for hacking a government website—the fifth alleged member of anonymous to be detained in recent months—has been charged under two articles within the information technology section of the Cambodian Criminal Code, a police spokesman said Thursday.

Chin Neangleangmeng, a Phnom Penh high school student, was charged under articles 427 and 428—unauthorized access to or remaining in an automated data processing system and obstructing the functioning of an automated data processing system, said Lieutenant General Kirth Chantharith, spokesman for the National Police Commissariat.
