Revenue from ticket sales to foreigners visiting Cambodia’s famed Angkor Archaeological Park reached 35.9 million U.S. dollars in the first quarter of 2019, down 9 percent over the same period last year, said a statement on Monday.
The ancient park received 787,900 foreigners during the January-March period this year, down 8 percent over the same period last year, said the state-run Angkor Enterprise’s statement.
Most visitors to the site are Chinese, South Koreans and Americans.
