Cambodia’s disaster management agency, UN’s WFP sign 5-year deal

Cambodia is expected to have better grip on handling disasters and reducing its risks following a collaboration with the United Nations.

To help achieve better crisis management and disaster risk reduction, its National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) and the UN World Food Programme (WFP) have signed a five-year partnership agreement on Wednesday.

According to the Phnom Penh Post, the signing of the agreement was witnessed by Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions Kun Kim and World Food Programme Cambodia country director Francesca Erdelmann.
