Cambodia’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage reaches 10 mln people

Cambodia has administered at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccines to 10.07 million people, or 63 percent of the Southeast Asian nation’s 16-million population, officials said on Thursday.

Of them, 8.13 million have completed the two-dose inoculation, Ministry of Health’s secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said in a report.

“As of Aug. 25, some 88.35 percent of the 10 million targeted adults and 62.87 percent of the 2 million targeted adolescents aged 12-17 have been vaccinated,” she said.
