Three Cambodian women arrested in Vietnam then handed over to Cambodian authorities face long jail terms for allegedly carrying babies for foreign nationals.
Two of the women are pregnant and one has delivered a baby, a spokesman for the Phnom Penh Municipal Court told the Khmer Times.
The court on Wednesday charged the women with selling, buying or exchanging a person for cross-border transfer under Cambodia’s anti-human trafficking law, spokesman Kuch Kimlong told dpa.
