Cambodian military moves out quarantined migrant workers to make way for more

The Cambodian military has started moving out some 10,000 migrant workers who are in quarantine at its seven Thai border provinces to cater for more returning workers.

The military started transferring them on Sunday and they are being brought to quarantine centres in their home provinces where they can be monitored for any Covid-19 infections.

According to the Phnom Penh Post, the move came after Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered all provincial governors, especially those from provinces bordering Thailand, to free up room at the limited quarantine facilities.
