Cambodian leaders, officials enter quarantine after recently visited Hungarian FM tests positive for COVID-19

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said Wednesday that he began a 14-day quarantine after Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, who just concluded his visit to the kingdom, tested positive for the COVID-19.

Szijjarto tested positive for the COVID-19 on Tuesday evening after arriving in Thailand from Cambodia on his Asian tour, Hun Sen wrote on his official Facebook page.

During a one-day visit to Cambodia on Tuesday, Szijjarto had met separately with Hun Sen, Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, Commerce Minister Pan Sorasak, and Agriculture Minister Veng Sakhon as well as Parliamentarian Sous Yara.
