Cambodian Health Minister Mam Bunheng inspected measures to screen out the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-2019) at the border checkpoint of Aranyaprathet district in Sa Kaeo province and promised bilateral cooperation to fight the disease.
Aranyaprathet district chief Sawanit Suriyakul Na Ayutthaya and other local authorities welcomed Mr Mam at the Aranyaprathet checkpoint at noon.
The delegation of the Cambodian health minister crossed the border on a Thai-Cambodian friendship bridge from the Poipet town of Cambodia to see Thai officials’ action to curb Covid-19 in the border area. Their arrival interested Thai and foreign tourists who were crossing the border to Thailand there.
