Cambodia is requesting that a new checkpoint be opened to allow transborder transport and travel between Trat province and Thmor Dar in Cambodia’s Pursat province.
The request was made during an online meeting led by Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob and his Cambodian counterpart, Sun Chanthol, said a source.
The Cambodian side asked for a border checkpoint to be built and operated as part of the Cross Border Transport Agreement (CBTA), the source said.
