Cambodia reports 2 more cases of African swine fever

Cambodia has found two more cases of African swine fever in two provinces, bringing the total cases in the kingdom to four, the country’s Agriculture Minister Veng Sakhon said on Monday.

One case was detected in a pig farm in Russey Chuo Khang Tboung village in Svay Chrum district in southeastern Svay Rieng province, and another was discovered in Ampil village in Angkor Borey district in southern Takeo province, he said in a statement.

The two cases were confirmed by the Institute of Animal Health and Production on July 5, he said, without giving the number of hogs killed by the disease in the two outbreak areas.
