Cambodia confirmed 17 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections in the kingdom to 533, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.
The new infections included 15 locally-transmitted cases in the capital Phnom Penh and two imported cases, the statement said, adding that the new patients were undergoing treatment at various designated COVID-19 hospitals.
MoH’s secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said the imported cases were found on a 47-year-old Cambodian man returning from Thailand on Feb. 18 and a 43-year-old Czech woman coming from the Czech Republic on Feb. 7.
