Cambodia registers 41 more local COVID-19 cases

Cambodia confirmed 41 more local COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of infected people linked to the third community transmission to 792, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.

Of those new cases, 28 were found in southern Kandal province, 12 in capital Phnom Penh, and one in southeastern Prey Veng province, MoH secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said in the statement.

They all had connections to the third community outbreak of COVID-19 on Feb. 20, she said, adding that the new patients were undergoing treatment at various designated COVID-19 hospitals.
